Kashmiris suffering due to the acrimony between India and Pakistan | KNO

Srinagar, Jan 22 (KNO) : The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference President Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat has said India entered in Kashmir amid the roars of gun and slogans of democracy to fulfill the promise for deciding the political fate of Kashmir, however, since past 70 years the successive generations are being deprived from their birth right. While addressing a gathering of party workers at Iqbal Nagar, Sopore North Kashmir Prof Bhat said the promises broken by the Indian ruling regime has wounded the souls of every Kashmir which needs to be cured by resolving the Kashmir issue before causing further damage to the life and property. Prof Bhat said the people of Jammu & Kashmir are suffering due to the acrimony between India and Pakistan, and reiterated his of cordial relation and dialogue between the two South Asian neighbors to resolve the Kashmir issue as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir. Prof Bhat said the bilateral talks have yielded no result till date, “therefore it is responsibility of Indo-Pak leadership to tangible steps by taking Kashmiri Hurriyat leadership onboard,” Prof added. Meanwhile, Prof Bhat later visited the bereaved family of Peer Abdul Haq Wusan at Tangmarg. Prof Bhat while throwing light on the philosophy of life and death prayed for the departed soul.(KNO)
